We were the first to tell you that Vashu Bhagnani had signed Sajid Khan to direct his next film featuring Ajay Devgn in the lead. We also told you that this film would be a remake of yesteryear hit Himmatwala featuring Jeetendra and Sri Devi.

Now, here’s the twist. After giving it a lot of thought, the actor and director decided not to go ahead with the project. So now Khan and his team of writers are working on another project. A fresh one!

Khan says, “There is a film that I am making for Vashu Bhagnani that has Ajay Devgn as a solo hero and it is not a remake of Himmatwala. Nothing else is finalised.”
