After I, Frankenstein, Aaron Eckhart has now signed on to portray Dennis Wilson, a key member of the infamous boy band Beach Boys, in the upcoming film The Drummer. The film will tackle the last six years of Wilson’s life, when the singer-songwriter released his acclaimed solo album Pacific Ocean Blue.
Randall Miller will direct and the screenplay has been written by Jody Savin. Both Miller and Savin will co-produce the movie through their Unclaimed Freight Productions, along with Brad Rosenberger.
