Agneepath – Fourth Highest Grosser

It gave a thunderous start to the year 2012. Yes, Agneepath, made under the Dharma Productions banner, created history on day one, with collections clocking Rs 23 crore nett.

And with the film crossing the Rs 100-crore mark, it’s also the fourth highest grosser of all time, after 3 Idiots, Bodyguard and Dabangg. Since the film is still running in cinemas, business is bound to go up further.

Says a jubilant Karan Johar, “It is an extremely proud feeling for all of us at Dharma Productions. It’s been a special film for the company and the fact that there is a high level of credibility attached to its main stream success is a bonus.”
