Dhoni’s bat gone, Tendulkar’s bat next in line

It was an occasion to be proud of when cricketing legend and skipper hero of 1983 winning Indian team in World Cup Kapil Dev and current cricket star  the much younger Suresh Raina unveiled the bat which was used by captain-cool Mahendra Singh Dhoni aka Mahi who hit a six  in this bat to win the recent World Cup for India, at a city five-star hotel (Four Seasons in Worli). The man (who looked so unassuming and also cool like Dhoni!) who bought the bat and hosted this get together was R K Global’s CMD Ramesh Bhagchandka said how he saw the match in the stadium and decided to buy it. ” My next aim is to buy Sachin Tendulkar’s bat when he scores 100th century,” said  Bhagchandka who seemed madly passionate about cricket. Others who came to the event were model and TV actress Sonia Sharma (of Crime Petrol TV serial), beauty pageant winner Rupali Suri (She was winner of Gladrags competition), actor Harish & documentary film-maker Anil Mishra. Amit Bhagchandka saw to it that the guests were well taken care of. Later Kapil paa jiwas spotted having dinner at the nearby restaurant. Cool event..
