Forest Whitaker is in final negotiations to play the title character in The Butler. This Lee Daniels’ story is about Eugene Allen, a black man who worked as a butler in the White House, serving eight Presidents from 1952 to 1986. The film will be produced by Pamela Williams and the other cast members in negotiations are David Oyelowo to play the butler’s son and Oprah Winfrey to play the butler’s wife. Actors Hugh Jackman, Liam Neeson and Mila Kunis are also in talks to be part of the film.
