The story revolves around a vengeful ghost who returns to a hospital to kill the staff responsible for her death. It must be mentioned here, there’s one – and only one – gruesome pattern of murder in the film. That of the ghost pulling out the heart of her victims even as she kills them.
The writer and director seem to have forgotten the entire purpose of the film. The film lacks the horror element in terms of dialogue and sound effects, what with a goat bleating in the background almost throughout the film! You will be forgiven if you mistake this horror flick for a humorous one.
The script is not one bit crisp, and in most places, it seems the actors have forgotten why they’re in this film! For instance, when Shiney Ahuja (Vijay Singh) a detective, meets Sayali Bhagat (Suhani) a doctor, to investigate the series of murders occuring at the hospital, they abruptly fall in love, completely forgetting the task at hand. What is worse here is a love song at this juncture.
Another sequence has Suhani frantically calling up Singh to convey some urgent message. The latter rushes to meet her and suddenly they decide to party!
Sayali, looks like a struggling model. Not only do the costumes fail to complement the character she plays but also the loud make-up makes her look like the ghost itself!
Shiney’s introductory scene through a song is much too long and like Sayali, comes across more as a model than a detective.
Director Puja Jatinder Bedi has attempted a horror film but has failed completely. Music is another downer. There are roughly three songs and they appear forced with no connection with the story. On the whole, the film will only scare the audience out of the cinemas.
Verdict: Dud
