Usually, when a film is delayed, the cast starts distancing itself from the project. However, Emraan Hashmi is not one to jump ship. His film Rush has been in the making for a couple of years and was later lying in the cans. Now, finally, the production house has decided to release the film.

If other actors dissociate themselves from a film that’s ‘stale’, Hashmi will promote the film. “Mark my words, the film is not one bit stale. And why shouldn’t I promote the film? Ad filmmaker-turned-director Shamim Desai had shot the film in such a way that it is ahead of its time,” says Hashmi. That’s the spirit!
