It is said that no matter how much critics trash a film, the truth is most of these erudite people harbour a secret desire to direct a film themselves one day. One of these reviewers who lived his dream is Minty Tejpal, who writes reviews for a leading tabloid.
Though he’s still writing reviews, Tejpal managed to keep his dream-come-true a secret. When Box Office India contacted Tejpal, he remarked, “It’s a fact that I’ve made a film. I’ve always wanted to direct a film and finally I’ve achieved my goal.”
Tejpal even claims he has co-scripted Blue Umbrella along with Vishal Bhardwaj. Talking about his first venture, Kaam Ka Plot, he says it is a fast-paced thriller and stars Ranvir Shorey, Vinay Pathak and Sandhya Mridul.
