Come August 24 and friends Arjun Rampal and Farah Khan were to battle it out at the box office because both of them were to films releasing on that date – Arjun Rampal and Chitrangada Singh’s Kaam – The Unofficial Story, and Farah Khan-Boman Irani’s Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi. Not any more.

David Dhawan’s next film Chasme Baddoor, which was due on August 31, has been advanced and it will now release on August 24. Thus, the release date of Kaam – The Unofficial Story is uncertain and the production house, Viacom 18, is still to take a call.

If Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi is a story about two older people, Khan and Irani, falling in love, Chasme Baddoor is a remake of the yesteryear hit with the same title and is a youthful, romantic film. Dhawan’s Chasme Baddoor features Ali Zafar, Siddharth, Divyendu Sharma, Rishi Kapoor and Southern beauty Tapasee, who makes her Hindi film debut with this film.
