Sajid Nadiadwala’s Seven

He’s always believed in doing the unbelievable, and time and again, he’s proved that he can. Despite the presence of so many corporate houses, the one-man army that is Sajid Nadiadwala has been churning out movies one after another, that too BIG ones. Now, he’s done it again. We’re announcing it here, but soon Sajid Nadidwala will make it official. In a few months, as many as seven films will mount their sets under the Sajid Nadiadwala banner.

A few weeks ago, we told you he was making a film with Imtiaz Ali and then another to be directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, which will most likely go on floors in February 2013. Now, hot on the heels of two hits – Kabul Express and New York – and ahead one of the most eagerly awaited releases of the year, Ek Tha Tiger, director Kabir Khan has been roped in by Nadiadwala. Yes, Khan’s next will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.

Three other directors, who Nadiadwala launched years ago – Sajid Khan, Shirish Kunder and Sabbir Khan – will also make a film each for his banner. And last but not least, he’s also co-producing a film with Karan Johar based on Chetan Bhagat’s book, Two States.

Phew! Plenty for one plate. But knowing Nadiadwala, he will make the anhonee ko honee!
