In Tinsel Town, the best-laid plans can change overnight. On Monday evening, while speaking to this writer, producer Ganesh Jain said his company would release their next home production, Tezz, toplining Ajay Devgn and Anil Kapoor, during Diwali. Now he’s singing a different tune.

Apparently, Jain plans to release the film on November 11 just so that it does not clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s magnum opus Ra.One, scheduled for a Diwali release.

Interestingly, when Jain spoke to us on Monday evening, he said he intended to release Rascals, whose worldwide distribution rights they have acquired, during the Dusshera week. He also said that Tezz would release two weeks later, during Diwali.

When we refreshed his memory, Jain did an about-turn and remarked, “When did I say that?” He said categorically, “My film will release on November 11. Tezz was never to release during the Diwali week.”

We wonder what happened to change Jain’s mind overnight.
