As we all know, Kumar Taurani is launching his son Girish Kumar opposite Shruti Haasan in a film to be directed by Prabhudheva, which is said to be a South remake. Now we learn that Taurani has bought the rights for two more Telugu films – Souryam (2008) and Don Seenu (2010).

Taurani says, “I am only concentrating on Girish Kumar’s film right now. We have finalised Shruti Haasan for the lead role. It’s a musical and Sachin-Jigar will be composing the music. Our film’s mahurat is on August 1. So I will start all my other projects next year.”

PS: We’re told that Taurani wants to rope in Saif Ali Khan to play the leading man in the Don Seenu remake.
