English entertainment channel from the Viacom18 stable, Vh1 India, is the current leader in the English entertainment category. According to TAM, the channel clocked a 22-per cent category share, placing it in leading position in the last three months (April – June 2012). It has overtaken channels like AXN, TLC, Fox Traveller, Star World and Zee Café (Source TAM – April – June, 2012 All India 15 -24 AB). Shows like Jersey Shore, Mike Judge’s Beavis and Butt-Head and Vh1 Pop-Up Videos have surpassed the popularity of the English music played on Vh1.
