Vidya Balan, who was on a holiday spree, is back to the studios and has started shooting for Rajkumar Gupta’s Ghanchakkar, which also features Emraan Hashmi in the lead. Well, she’s thrilled to be working with one of her favourite directors. This is the second time to duo will be working together, after No One Killed Jessica. There’s another reason: Balan is shooting in Trombay, which is close to Chembur where she was born and raised.

Balan giggles and says, “When I lived in Chembur, I would travel all the way to Andheri or Goregaon to shoot. Now I have shifted to Bandra, I have an opportunity to shoot close to my home in Chembur.”

It may be a different route today and Balan still has to travel a longway to shoot but the actress is not complaining. “I enjoy it as my commute from my current home to Essel Studios in Trombay reminds me so many things.”
