Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda's chemistry in Dear Comrade has been the talk of the town. The two actors shared screen space for the first time with Geetha Govindam. The trailer of Dear Comrade has a lot of interesting scenes, but it is the kissing scenes between the two actors that hasbeen spoken and written about the most.
In an interview with a leading daily, Rashmika spoke about the same, she said, "If people can talk only about the kiss and not the entire trailer, then it just shows what people think. Actors like us merely portray fictional characters; how people take them is up to them.”
There have also been rumours of her being in a relationship with Vijay, but Rashmika said that she was single.
Dear Comrade is all set to hit screens tomorrow. Besides Telugu, the film will be released in Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. Directed by Bharat Kamma, it is produced by Naveen Yerneni, Y Ravi Shankar, Mohan Cherukuri (CVM) and Yash Rangineni under Mythri Movie Makers and Big Ben Cinemas banners.
The Hindi rights of the film have been bought by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.
On the work front, Rashmika has two Telugu films, Bheeshma with Niithin and the Mahesh Babu starrer Sarileru Neekevvaru. In Tamil, she is doing a film with Karthi.
