The Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF) is an influential platform for Arab filmmakers at the international level by spearheading the cinema movement in the Middle East.
Now in its sixth year, DIFF has extended its platform to honour independent and established talent from Asian and African countries.

Aval Peyar Tamilarasi (India) is a Tamil movie written and directed by Meera Kathiravan. Produced by Moser Baer Entertainment, this film is a story about how fraction of a minute can change life.
This year, DIFF will also celebrate actors, directors and celebrities from French cinema.The festival will include 127 submissions by filmmakers of Arab-origin from around the globe, with the bulk of submissions coming from Lebanon, Palestine, France, Egypt, Morocco, Jordan and Tunisia.
www.dubaifilmfest.comIndustry accreditation for the 6th edition of DIFF is reserved for film industry professionals. Requests for accreditation may be made starting from 1 September till 15 November 2009. Late applications are subject to late registration fee.
To have your own or your company’s information included in the 2009 DIFF Industry Guide, your record must include a photograph sent in by November 1, 2009.
Any request for accreditation after December 1, 2009, or at the Festival Headquarters during the festival will require 48 hours for processing.
Conditions of Market Accreditation
The Dubai Film Market is reserved for film industry professionals meeting one of the following job profiles. Requests for accreditation may be made starting from 1 September till 15 November 2009.
Professional categories eligible for accreditation: International Sales Agent, Producer, Programmer, Rights Owner, Sales Agent, Broadcast - Television, Buyer/Seller, Director, Distribution, Executive Producer, Film Director, Film Festivals & Markets.
