Silicon Valley, San Fransisco

What’s It All about?

The Silicon Valley and San Francisco Global Movie Fest, titled The Festival of Globe (FOG), is an international platform launched last year under the aegis of the Federation of Indian Association and Dr Romesh K Japra. It was initiated to bring together filmmakers and celebrities from various countries on the same platform, along with NRIs from the IT community, medical community, HNIs, venture capitalists and all cinema lovers.

The event, which started as a three-day initiative, has since expanded into a 10-day festival. It will feature nearly 50 feature films, workshops and panels, a series of social dos featuring celebrities, investors and filmmakers, and conclude with a Hollywood and Bollywood Premiere Night, Grand Awards Night and the India Day Parade of The Bay Area.

Girish Wankhede with his new venture Entity One is now officially the Knowledge Partner of FOGSV 2015. He will be conducting a workshop on ‘releasing films in India’ and by selection of the festival jury, will release one film under his banner Entity One.

Attendees At The Fest

The second edition of FOG will be attended by Jackie Chan, Sharon Stone, Martin Sheen, Sonu Nigam, Bappi Lahiri, Gulshan Grover, Deepti Naval, Kal Penn and other national and international celebrities.
