Fans all across the globe are sad as Game Of Thrones (GOT) is nearing its end. But then, there is good news for them as the trailer of upcoming HBO documentary, The Last Watch has just been released. The Last Watch shows the making of the eighth and final series of the worldwide phenomenon, GOT. It also features interviews with the cast and crew and a provides us a window at what went into making the final series. But what has caught our attention is that Kit Harington alias Jon Snow being reduced to tears as the cast gathered for the series’ final-ever table read.
“I could not have worked harder, I really have given this everything I’ve had,” one producer says in the documentary. The two-hour documentary will air in the US on May 26, almost a week after the finale episode is aired. The trailer also shows Emilia Clarke’s final scene as Daenerys Targaryen, aka the First of Her Name, The Unburnt, Queen of the Andals, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Breaker of Chains and Mother of Dragons.

On a related note, the GOT spin-off has reportedly started being filmed in Belfast, the United Kingdom. The new series, set more than five thousand years before the events of the current series, will tell the story of the Children Of The Forest and will trace the history of the White Walkers. It is tentatively titled Bloodmoon. Naomi Watts will play the lead role in the spin-off.
Author of A Song of Ice and Fire, George RR Martin, had previously confirmed that none of the characters or actors from the current series will appear in the prequel, because it is set several years back.
