Chopsticks seems like a quirky world. The background score add to the intrigue. In Deol’s words, Chopsticks is the story of “an under-confident but talented girl, sidestepped at every stage of her life, who seeks out an enigmatic con to help recover her stolen car from a goat-loving, crazy Mumbai gangster. In the process, she finds her confidence and place in the sun.”
He went to state, “This is not an acquisition, it is the 1st Netflix original film made in India!”
The film also features Vijay Raaz who plays a gangster. It directed by Sachin Yardi and produced by Ashvini Yardi under Vineyard Films. Chopsticks will start streaming on Netflix from May 31, 2019.
It will be an interesting addition to the slew of Original films that Netflix India has announced.
