The quintessential Bollywood masala flick is back! Director Sajid Khan, who last gave us the nonsensical entertainer Heyy Babyy, is ready with his second film, Housefull. With a cast comprising superstars, exotic locations and a soundtrack that’s fast gaining popularity, Khan seems to have another superhit on his hands. And like in his debut film, the music for Housefull too has been composed by Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy.

The album opens with the instantly catchy Oh girl you’re mine by newcomer Tarun Sagar who’s accompanied by Loy Mendonsa and his daughter Alyssa. A super catchy line and an infectious beat make this song immensely enjoyable. The college crowd is going to love this one!

Though Papa jag jayega (Ritu Pathak, Neeraj Sridhar, Alyssa Mendonsa and Amitabh Bhattacharya) is a situational number, it still is extremely enjoyable as a standalone song. Bhattacharya’s Hinglish lyrics are flaky yet fun.

Remember the monster hit Apni to jaise taise from Prakash Mehra’s Laawaris? Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy give this classic chartbuster a new twist and repackage it as Aapka kya hoga – dhanno. Mika Singh and Sunidhi Chauhan are clearly having a blast singing this one. The younger generation who are not familiar with the original are going to love this new version. It has chartbuster written all over it!

I don’t know what to do is a situational fun song that marks the return of the popular ‘80s singer Shabbir Kumar. Despite missing from the playback scene for over a decade, Kumar still sounds the same. But it’s Sunidhi who sparkles in this number with her seductive voice and superb rendition.

Vivienne Pocha who mainly provides backing vocals gets her major break in He’s such a loser and she rocks it! Interesting lyrics and a groovy rhythm will make this track popular, especially among the ladies.

Verdict: May not be heard six months but is hugely entertaining right now!
