October 10 is observed as the World Mental Health Day and the World Federation for Mental Health (WFMH) decided to make Suicide Prevention as its main theme. Addressing the theme, Facebook CLC, Mumbai and Out A Loud organised a mental health awareness event - Young Mind Matters for deliberating over stress management for the millennial generation.
Invited as a chief guest to the event, Karan Singh Grover shared his thoughts on the root causes of depression and stress management. The Kasautii Zindagii Kay actor was joined by Namrata Jain, psychologist and founder of Out A Loud, mind and body expert, Dr. Sitesh Roy, psychiatrist Dr. Mohit Shah and RJ Archana Pania for a discussion on depression and mental health.
As Karan said "All minds matter especially the young ones because they have a huge responsibility on their shoulders. The responsibility to heal Mother Earth so that the future generations can have a good, safe and clean life. Everything starts with the self though. Bringing change to the self will bring change to the surroundings. The first step in this river of change is to speak, accept and let go"
