Exploring the ultimate in the realisation of womanhood, the movie Blanket had its muhurat recently. This film is about the relationship between a mother and her daughter. The story revolves around a six-year-old girl, her emotional bonding with mother, and their life in poverty amidst large heaps of garbage.
The muhurat clap was given by Shri Vilas Madgiri, President, Standing Committee of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation, and Advocate Satish Gorde were also present on the occasion.
The movie comments on the mentality of the society which tramples on the hopes and aspirations of women. Director Raj Gorde said that the movie Blanket shows a different aspect of living.
Artists for Blanket are still under wraps, and the shooting has already begun. The movie is being produced by Akash Shinde, the story-screenplay- direction is handled by Raj Gorde. Dialogues are by Raj Gorde and Nitin Supekar, music is by Rohit Nagbhide. Cinematography by Yogesh Koli, editing is by Rohan Patil, sound designer is Mahavir Sabanwar, art direction is by Datta Londe and organisation by Mayur Mhaske.
