Nikkhil Advani is gearing up for Baro Film Nights, an occasion to screen films that need a wider audience than that which has been given to them during its release, that is scheduled to take place today in Mumbai.
This time, the filmmaker will be showcasing Sudhir Mishra’s Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi. The cast and thee crew of the film including Mishra, producer Pritish Nandy, music director Shantanu Moitra, writer-lyricist Swanand Kirkire and actors Chitrangdha Singh and Saurabh Shukla will be present.
Talking about it, the Kal Ho Naa Ho director says, "I am really thrilled to be able to showcase Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi as it's a film that truly deserves the title classic. Baro Film Night is basically an occasion to screen films that need a wider audience unlike given during its release. I am really looking forward to audience interaction post screening as it's going to be one super night open for all."
Interestingly, Advani has shown various films before at the Baro Film Nights, such as Mukti Bhavan, Anaarkali Of Aarah, Nude, S Durga and Manto, post which audiences had the chance of interacting with the teams behind the films.
On the work front, the filmmaker, who wrapped his directorial Batla House recently, has another film titled 1911, which he will start soon. Advani is also working on his web show, Hasmukh, with internationally acclaimed stand-up comedian, Vir Das.
