Old – and stale – wine in a new bottle. Ready in 2006, www.love.com waited four long years to hit the screen.
But it’s not just stale; it’s a run-of-the-mill, done-to-death story, where Mika Singh is the owner of a dance bar in love with one of his dancers, Mummiath. You guessed it – she doesn’t reciprocate his feelings.
But Jai Kalra, a contract killer, is out for a night and turns out the girl arranged for the night out is, yup, Mummiath. A one-night stand blossoms into love and now Kalra wants to quit his job and turn over a new leaf so that he can have his lady love. What follows is the crux of the film.
Marred by poor screenplay, the direction is below average. Dialogue fails to impress. Music is nothing to write home about.
Kalra makes a huge effort to appear tough but fails miserably. Mummiath looks sexy but performance-wise, leaves a lot to be desired. Mika is plain bad.
In a nutshell, this film will soon be out of theatres and seen on dotcoms.
